A Fantastic Weekend!

We had such a fun weekend this last weekend. We started on Friday and went to Applebee’s for dinner and then rode tracks to see the lights at Temple Square! What a beautiful and spiritual place to be - especially with the ones we love. The lights were so gorgeous and I love night pictures of the temple. Saturday we finished up all of our Christmas shopping and then went to dinner and bowling later on that night. Sunday we went to church, had Sunday dinner and played Dance Dance Revolution! Matt made his almighty famous cake to die for! We had such a great time. In the pictures are Matt & Lydia, Hayley & Lubian and Erin & Richard. It has been so much fun to hang out together and I am so glad we are family and such great friends! I love all of you!

Thanksgiving Blessings!!

Happy Thanksgiving! This was such a special year for Thanksgiving for me! It was the first year in nine years that I was able to go home and spend Thanksgiving with my Grandpa! I love him so much. He is such a special person. Since my Grandma passed, he hasn’t had an easy go at it. He has been so lonely and I can’t even imagine how hard it is for him. I miss her so much that my heart aches and I think about her daily. He has such a great heart and it was really fun to sit and talk with him and hear all of his stories. I could listen to them for hours. It was fun to be with my family and have everyone home at the same time in a very long time. The house was packed and cozy, just how we like it! My mom made amazing rolls and pies and my Dad does an awesome job at the turkey carving! We had so much with the Phillips, Angus’ and Pivas. I enjoy so much spending time with my family. I think some times we take each other for granted and get so caught up in our daily lives that we forget to call or drop in to check on them. The only thing I missed was that Matt wasn't with me on this special day. I just want my family and Matt to know how much I love each of them. I am very blessed to have them in my life!

Great Friends...

We had a friend pass away a couple of weeks ago that we worked with. I was able to get this cute picture with Caroleann and Brenda. They are such great friends! I miss working with them and seeing their smiling faces every day! They both have been such great examples in my life and I appreciate all they have done for me.

Girls Night Out!

We had girls night out a couple of weeks ago and had a blast! We went to the fragrance festival at Dillards and then afterwards we went to Sizzler and had dinner. It was such a fun night. Its always fun about once a month to hang out with all the gals! Thanks to all of you for being such awesome friends! Love you all!

Neil's Homecoming..

My cousin Neil just returned home off of his mission. They had a small dinner right after the homecoming. My dad’s family was all there. It was fun to see so many of them. I haven’t seen a lot of them for a really long time. I love this picture of my mom and dad! They are the best parents any girl could ask for. I am glad that I have been blessed to have them as great parents and awesome examples to all of us. They would do anything for anyone. I look at the service they do for others and I wish I was half as good as they are. I am so proud of them and I love them so much. I couldn’t do it without them. They have always been there for me. I love each of you forever and forever!

Meagan's Baby Shower!!

My cousin Meagan is having a baby boy! Sally, Daisy and Whitney had her a baby shower on Saturday and we were all able to attend. It was fun to see everyone I haven’t seen in a long time. She got a lot of nice gifts. They had soup bowls and relish trays. It was a fun Saturday. We are so excited for Bill and Meagan! Congratulations!

Matt & I...

After Sunday dinner at Matt's house, we played duck, duck, goose with the kids. These are some cute pictures of Matt and his niece Tatum and nephews, Kristopher and Carson.
(Kerstin - I stole some pictures from your blog! I hope you don't mind! I LOVE this one of Matt and Carson!)
